FTHub 3-day In-person Immersive Training in Nature is exclusively for FTHub Guides and Practitioners currently in training or already certified (regardless of the year of certification). With this training you will:
- Sharpen your profile as a Guide or Practitioner.
- Gain irreplaceable bonds with your trainers and colleagues.
- Incorporate group management techniques to support the experience of participants.
- Master the art of communication in Nature Connection Activities.
- Grasp theoretical knowledge through games and exercises.
- Build the future of the practice alongside your peers.
- Dive into group design and co-guiding of Forest Bathing walks.
- Learn the Art of Play for Forest Bathing.
All immersions start on Friday at 14:30 (2:30 pm) and end on Sunday at 17:30 (5:30 pm). If you have to arrive a little later or leave a little earlier, we understand. Travel, accommodation, meals or other expenses are not included in the cost.

Where
Cockaponset State Forest is the second-largest forest in the Connecticut state forest system, encompassing over 17,000 acres (6,900 ha) of land. A portion of the forest, known as the Chester Cedar Swamp, was declared a National Natural Landmark in 1973. Along with Pachaug-Great Meadow Swamp, it is one of the finest remaining examples of an Atlantic white cedar (Chamaecyparis thyoides) forest.
Accommodation
Guest House Retreat Center is located in the scenic Connecticut River Valley, situated on 12 wooded acres. Its approach is very nurturing and mindful, allowing guests to concentrate on the important work they come to accomplish. The mission of Guest House is to support opportunities for transformational work and provide an adequate environment for those seeking to develop human potential and enrich the world.

Meals
Meals are included in the price: three healthy, expertly prepared meals per day.
All menu items are made from scratch using fresh ingredients. The dining services staff is experienced in accommodating common allergies and preferences and adjusting menus as needed for each group.
All-day fresh beverage service is available in the dining room: coffee, tea, lemonade and water. Deluxe snack and beverage services are available for an additional charge.

Guest House is located midway between New York City and Boston, ten miles north of the Long Island Sound coastline. The most common travel hubs are Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks and Old Saybrook Train Station. Guest House is not served by public transportation and so arranging a ride with a fellow group member or private car service is highly recommended.
