Where

La Cumbrecita is a small town located in the Calamuchita Valley in the Sierras Grandes of the province of Córdoba (Argentina). It is a nature reserve. At an altitude of 4,757 ft (1,450 m) above sea level, its landscapes of mountains, streams and waterfalls of clear water are surrounded by mixed pine forests. Its Central European-style houses are a picturesque attraction along the paths that run through the forest. It is the only pedestrian town in Argentina, called the “town of tales” (pueblo de cuentos) for its pure natural beauty, visited all year round by national and international tourists.

Accommodation

FTHub chooses to stay at Hostel Planeta Cumbrecita, a former Central European-style chalet located in the heart of the village, equipped with spacious shared or private rooms and fully equipped kitchens.

The centre of La Cumbrecita with shops, bars and restaurants is less than 300 metres from the accommodation.

The Hostel has breakfast service included and an especially warm and dedicated service. Linen, Wi-Fi, barbecue, and lots of nature. The rooms have full private bathrooms.

Contact and reservations: +54 9 3546 41-9581. Let them know you are attending the FTHub training to find out about discounts and payment methods.

You can also choose any other accommodation of your choice WITHIN the town of La Cumbrecita and close to the Hostel. You can choose a place that is located inside the village, i.e. after the access to the pedestrian bridge to La Cumbrecita, and not the accommodation around the entrance to the village, as the distances and meeting times with the group will take you more time.

Meals

Central European cuisine is typical of La Cumbrecita, with menus that include regional delicacies, also suitable for vegans and coeliacs.
