Rose Prudente-Jocson

Philippines

Rose Prudente-Jocson is a Nature Connection Specialist Accredited Trainer, Outbound Educator, and Learning Experience Designer. She co-founded Nature Therapy PH and the Philippine Outbound Educators Institute, where she brings together curriculum-based education, wellness practices, and nature connection in programs for schools, communities, and partner institutions. Her work is driven by the belief that meaningful experiences in nature can shape how people learn, care for themselves, and relate to the world around them.

With more than 30 years in experiential education, Rose has worked with learners from preschool children to older adults. Her favourite classrooms are mountains, caves, and the ocean. Her background working with young learners continues to shape her style — her trainings are active, playful, and reflective, with plenty of room for curiosity, laughter, and discovery. In recent years, she has focused on preparing facilitators and working with schools, communities, and public institutions that want to bring nature connection into their own programs, while keeping the experience grounded in local culture and environment.

Rose trained with the Forest Therapy Hub as a Forest Bathing Guide, Forest Therapy Practitioner, Wild Blue Trainer, and Nature Connection Specialist Accredited Trainer. She enjoys mentoring new guides and supporting the steady growth of forest bathing and nature-based wellness in the Philippines through collaborations with educators, NGOs, private, and government partners.

She holds a degree in Sports Science and is based in Metro Manila, Philippines, and is available to conduct training internationally in English.
