Manuela Renzi
Manuela brings a rich interdisciplinary background in Naturopathy, Ecopsychology, Mindfulness and Oriental Medicine, and is fluent in Italian, Spanish and English. Her deep understanding of nature-based health practices is complemented by extensive experience in designing and delivering training programmes across diverse cultural and ecological contexts.
As Training Director at FTHub, Manuela works closely with international trainers, adapting the Forest Bathing and Forest Therapy practice to different cultural realities. Her cross-cultural insight enables the co-creation of training that respects local traditions while aligning with global standards in nature-based health promotion.
She has led numerous Forest Therapy interventions across Europe, engaging a wide range of populations with a special focus on children and adolescents. Manuela played a key role in the design and implementation of the Trentino Therapeutic Garden in the Italian Alps, one of the region’s pioneering projects integrating nature and health.
She is actively involved in multiple EU-funded projects, including NATURELAB and ForestAll, as well as other Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe initiatives, where she contributes her expertise in capacity building and health-focused nature interventions.
Raised in a mountain tourism environment, Manuela has been deeply shaped by values of sustainability, local culture and ecological awareness. Her passion is reflected in her commitment to creating spaces and experiences that foster healing, promote environmental responsibility and cultivate a renewed connection with nature. She continues to organise workshops, retreats and holistic programmes that inspire a deeper love for the natural world.
Manuela is the author of WILD BLUE, FTHub’s specialised course on Nature Connection in Blue Spaces, and regularly contributes to professional conferences, including the V and VII Congress “Forest and Its Potential for Health”. Her work has been featured in several Italian media outlets for its innovative and compassionate approach to nature-based well-being.
