Christiane Pereira is a Physical Therapist and her lifelong passion for nature began in early childhood and has remained a guiding force throughout her personal and professional journey. After graduation, she completed a specialization in Electromyography Biofeedback at the University of Miami and a Master’s degree in Science from the University of São Paulo (USP). With years of experience as a Neurological Physical Therapist, she has also served as a university professor and coordinator of a graduate programme in Physical Therapy. In 2021 she became a certified yoga instructor (YT-200) and a facilitator of meditation in health from UNIFESP.

Deeply committed to environmental and social impact, she founded and supported a social environmental education project through agroecology for children and teenagers in the state of Piaui, in the Northeast of Brazil. Today, this initiative reaches over 300 students, promoting sustainable agriculture, ecological awareness and improved quality of life within local communities. She and her family also work to reforest a deforested area in Itaipava, Rio de Janeiro, to help undo the damage caused by climate change in a region that has long suffered from climate-related disasters.

Now in 2025 certified as a Forest Bathing Guide and Forest Therapy Practitioner by FTHub, she is dedicated to integrating her knowledge of health sciences and agroecology to foster mental well-being and holistic health. Her work especially will focus on inspiring children and adolescents to reconnect with nature and become agents of the transformative change our world needs to be a healthy planet.
