Anita Correia
Social Media Manager
Anita holds a degree in Marketing and Graphic Design, combining strategic communication with visual storytelling and digital design. Fluent in Portuguese, English, Spanish, and French, she has built her professional path around supporting organisations committed to positive social and environmental impact. Her practice is grounded in ethical marketing principles, with a strong focus on authenticity, clarity, and social value. She is also trained in Nonviolent Communication, which informs her collaborative and values-based approach to communication.
At the Forest Therapy Hub, she leads the development and coordination of the organisation’s digital presence across social media platforms. Her role centres on translating FTHub’s science-informed and educational approach to nature-based health into clear, accessible, and engaging communication for an international and multidisciplinary audience. She brings strong intercultural competence to her work, supporting consistent communication across diverse cultural and linguistic contexts, and contributes through a values-driven, impact-oriented communication strategy aligned with FTHub’s mission and educational foundations.
Over recent years, Anita has worked primarily as a web and graphic designer, collaborating with international initiatives and EU-funded programmes, including sustainability-focused organisations such as the Global Ecovillage Network (GEN Europe). Through these collaborations, she has supported projects focused on sustainability, regenerative development, education, and community resilience, strengthening their visibility through coherent visual identity and digital strategy.
Based in Portugal, Anita has travelled extensively, engaging with ecovillages, regenerative initiatives, and sustainability-driven projects across diverse cultural and ecological contexts. These experiences have shaped her long-term commitment to regenerative approaches to social change and her interest in the intersections of nature connection, well-being, education, and communication. She is also the co-creator of Community Café, a storytelling project dedicated to sharing lived experiences and perspectives on ecovillage lifestyles, sustainability, and regenerative living.
