PAYMENT POLICIES | Options
If you choose to pay in installments:
- Payments are due on the same day of the month as the first payment and will be charged automatically using the card details provided for the first payment.
- If subsequent installments need to be paid manually, after a failed automatic charge on the card, there will be an additional charge of EUR 56 / USD 60.
Failure to attend the program does not prejudice Forest Therapy Hub’s right to demand payment in full, should the Participant choose to do so.
PAYMENT POLICIES | Method
Payment will be made by credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express) and the participant must provide the bank details duly updated and necessary for this purpose (card number, cardholder, expiration date and security code).
All information submitted by the participant for this purpose is encrypted and sent directly to the payment gateway. Forest Therapy Hub does not keep any of this data to ensure the participant’s information is secure.
The payment includes applicable taxes.
The amounts and dates of debits are as stipulated in this payment policy. Payment dates: monthly payments are due on the same date as the first payment and will be charged automatically using the card details provided for the first payment.
For training programs purchased under an installment payment plan, the account holder is required to keep a valid payment method on file for the duration of the plan, until the full amount has been paid. The platform will not allow the removal of the payment method while there are pending installments.
If the payment method becomes invalid or is declined, FTHub reserves the right to suspend access to the program until the outstanding payment is resolved. If FTHub is unable to collect payment, it will cancel participation in the training.
PAYMENT POLICIES | Invoicing information
During registration, customers are given the opportunity to provide all required billing details, including tax identification numbers and invoicing particulars. Please ensure that all information entered is accurate at the time of registration. Should a customer request an amendment to an already issued invoice due to incorrect or incomplete details provided during registration, an administrative fee of EUR 75 will be charged for reissuing and processing the corrected invoice.
PAYMENT POLICIES | Refunds and Cancellations
Conferences and Summits
Cancellation by the Participant of attendance at conferences (such as the Global Summit of Science, Nature & Health):
- Global Summit registrations are non-refundable once purchased.
- A paid registration is required to submit an abstract, and the fee is non-refundable even if the abstract is not accepted.
Online training and courses
Cancellation by the Participant of FTHub online training and courses:
- Participants have the right to a refund if cancellation occurs within 14 days beginning the day after purchase, provided that they did not have access to the program contents.
- Once the Participant has access to the program contents, there will be no refund.
In-person events | Cancellation by the Participant
Cancellation of in-person events (such as Spring Schools and Summer Schools) by the Participant must be submitted in writing to adm@foresttherapyhub.com.
The applicable refund, based on the three tiers outlined below, is determined by the date FOREHUB, LDA. receives the written cancellation request relative to the start date of the event.
- Up to 6 months before the event start date: Full refund of all amounts paid, minus a EUR 100 administrative fee.
- Between 6 and 3 months before the event start date: 50% refund of all amounts paid.
- Less than 3 months before the event start date: No refund. Participants may submit a written request to transfer the total amount paid to a future in-person event:
- This transfer must be used within a maximum of 18 months from the original event start date.
- The transfer applies to a single future in-person event, is personal and non-transferable to third parties, and does not cover any price difference between the two events.
- If the transfer is not used within 18 months of the original event start date, it is forfeited.
For registrations in events exclusively designated for guides and practitioners trained by individuals outside the network, a full refund will be processed automatically, minus a EUR 60 administrative fee.
Participants acknowledge and agree that:
- Due to unforeseen circumstances, program details—including schedules, trainers, and expert lineups for in-person events—may be subject to change.
- Forest Therapy Hub reserves the right to make necessary adjustments to ensure program continuity and quality.
- Such changes do not entitle Participants to a refund.
Once a registration is confirmed, if the Participant fails to show up at the scheduled date, time, and location without prior cancellation, they forfeit all rights associated with the activity, including the right to reschedule for a new date.
In-person events | Cancellation or modification by Forest Therapy Hub
Forest Therapy Hub reserves the right to cancel or modify activities under the following circumstances:
- Failure to reach the minimum number of participants required to run the activity. Forest Therapy Hub may cancel programs up to 1 month prior to the start date;
- Severe weather conditions that render the activity impracticable;
- Failure to meet minimum safety conditions;
- Other conditions that make it impracticable to carry out the activity (wildfires, high winds, fallen trees, etc.);
- Unforeseen personal circumstances affecting trainers and expert lineups for in-person events.
If Forest Therapy Hub cancels the event, Participants will be notified as soon as possible and offered alternative dates or a full refund of all amounts paid to date.
In the event of an activity cancellation, Participants shall not be entitled to claim reimbursement for personal expenses incurred as a result of the cancellation, including but not limited to transportation and accommodation costs.
