Alice Zambon
Trenerka
Alice has studied Biology and Neuroscience in Italy before moving to Vienna, Austria, where she completed a PhD in Neuroscience. During her PhD at the Medical University of Vienna, she investigated the impact of environmental stressors during pregnancy. She also enriched her academic experience with a research stay at Columbia University in New York. Fluent in Italian, English, and German, Alice’s interdisciplinary background has shaped her belief that many brain disorders arise from the interaction of multiple factors. She believes that society should focus more on prevention, especially in today’s stressful and indoor lifestyle, disconnected from nature.
Since 2022, she has worked in Vienna in Clinical Research. This experience has deepened her understanding that while developing new drugs is vital, addressing complex diseases often requires a multidisciplinary approach. People should be aware of how their surroundings affect them and recognise tools that improve their quality of life.
Guided by her deep commitment to restoring the bond between humans and nature, Alice began training as a Forest Bathing Guide and Forest Therapy Practitioner in April 2024 and achieved her certification through the Forest Therapy Hub in September 2024 and November 2025.
She strongly believes that further research in this field is essential to generating stronger evidence-based findings that support the benefits of connecting with nature for both individual and planetary well-being.
