FTHub has officially launched its redesigned website, unveiling a new digital platform that brings together education, research, and professional community under a single, integrated ecosystem.
The new website marks a significant evolution for the international organisation, reflecting how FTHub has expanded over the past decade from a professional training provider into a global network advancing nature-based health through education, scientific innovation, and practitioner development.
Rather than simply redesigning its online presence, FTHub has organized its digital experience around three interconnected pillars: Education, Research Lab, and Hub Seedlings Global Network. Together, these present a central pathway for learners, researchers, healthcare professionals, and practitioners working in nature-based interventions worldwide.
Three Pillars, One Ecosystem
At the heart of the new website is a structure designed to reflect the full scope of FTHub’s work.
The Education pillar serves as the gateway to FTHub’s learning pathways, from introductory learning opportunities to professional certification programs and continuing professional development.
The Research Lab highlights the organization’s research activity, innovation projects, scientific collaborations, and contributions to advancing evidence-based nature-based interventions. It validates the research and practical implementation of the FTHub Method and FTHub 5 Components of Nature-based Interventions (NBI).
Completing the ecosystem is Hub Seedlings Global Network, an international network for Forest Bathing Guides, Forest Therapy Practitioners, and professionals working in nature-based health. Members gain access to practical professional resources, an expanded practitioner directory, peer support and supervision, business development training, and opportunities to engage with FTHub’s research and educational initiatives. Joining is free, with valuable benefits for those who become part of the network.
Together, the three pillars present a clearer picture of FTHub’s mission: connecting education, scientific evidence, and a global professional network within a single platform.
FTHub Academy Expands Continuing Professional Development in Nature-Based Health
The FTHub Academy has been launched as FTHub’s continuing professional development platform, offering flexible, self-paced learning for Shinrin-yoku, Forest Therapy Guides, Forest Bathing Guides, Forest Therapy Practitioners, Nature Connection Specialists, and other professionals working in nature-based health and wellbeing.
Built around practical application, each course focuses on a single professional skill and combines experiential learning, scientific evidence, reflection, and ready-to-use resources. The curriculum spans ten core themes, from nature connection and outdoor facilitation to nervous system regulation, research literacy, and therapeutic landscapes, with optional career pathways for specialized practice.
Integrated within the Hub Seedlings Global Network, the Academy complements FTHub’s certification programs by supporting ongoing professional growth through accessible, skills-based education and a connected international learning network.
Training Pathways Remain at the Core
While the website introduces new ways to learn, FTHub’s internationally recognized certification programs remain central to the organization’s offering. Visitors can now more easily explore professional pathways including FThub Nature Connection Specialist, FTHub Forest Bathing Guide and FTHub Forest Therapy Practitioner training, alongside flexible online, in-person, and immersive learning formats that have become hallmarks of the organization’s educational model. Research from the Forest Therapy Institute Lab continues to inform how these pathways are designed and updated.
Summer and Spring Schools Strengthen the Learning Ecosystem
The new website also incorporates FTHub’s growing portfolio of 5-day in-person Spring Schools next to the 8-day in- person Summer Schools, further expanding opportunities for immersive learning within the broader educational ecosystem. In November 2026 and May 2027, Spring Schools will commence in Australia and the UK, where wellness landscapes, ancient parklands, and riverside woodlands welcome participants to learn directly within natural environments alongside international faculty and peers. For the Summer School, our traditional offers in New Hampshire, Vancouver, Oceans, and Barcelona remain, with the addition of Bangkok.
A Platform Built for the Next Stage of Growth
The redesigned website arrives as FTHub continues expanding its international collaborations, educational programs, and research initiatives. With improved navigation, a more coherent structure, and clearer connections between learning, research, and community engagement, the platform has been designed not only to better serve today’s learners, but also to support the organization’s future development.
