Forest Therapy Hub practitioners are now eligible to join PaRx Connectors, a national network of nature professionals who support people in building meaningful and lasting connections with nature.
PaRx, Canada’s nature prescription program, was developed by BC Parks Foundation to help healthcare professionals prescribe time in nature as part of patient care. Since launching in 2020, the program has engaged more than 21,000 healthcare professionals and supported approximately 1.8 million nature prescriptions across Canada.
PaRx Connectors was created to help people act on those prescriptions. Connectors provide guidance, encouragement, and structured opportunities for nature connection, helping individuals turn a healthcare recommendation into a meaningful experience.
For Forest Therapy Hub practitioners, joining the Connectors network offers an opportunity to be part of a growing movement that recognizes the role nature can play in supporting health and wellbeing. Forest bathing guides and forest therapy practitioners bring valuable expertise in helping people slow down, connect with natural environments, and build deeper relationships with the outdoors.
As interest in nature-based approaches continues to grow, initiatives such as PaRx Connectors create new opportunities for practitioners from diverse backgrounds to support people in accessing the health benefits of nature.
Those interested Forest Therapy Hub practitioners can learn more about PaRx Connectors and explore whether joining the network is right for them.
