FTHub guida il dialogo sulla salute basata sulla natura al 7º Congresso ISFT

The Forest Therapy Hub (FTHub) is poised to play a significant role at the upcoming 7th ISFT® International Congress on Forest and Its Potential for Health, a key event scheduled to take place from September 23 to 25, 2025, in Waren (Müritz), Germany, providing a crucial platform for advancing the integration of natural environments into contemporary health paradigms.

Hosted by Landesforste Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, the congress is a central forum where the International Society of Forest Therapy (ISFT) champions research, quality training, and networking within the field.

Alex Gesse, Director of the Forest Therapy Hub, will present FTHub’s strategic vision as a keynote speaker at the congress. Recognized as one of Europe’s leading figures in nature-based health solutions, FTHub coordinates under his leadership international EU-funded projects. Inga Dreimane and Manuela Renzi will also take the stage: Inga will showcase the Back to Nature Erasmus+ project, inspiring youth to prevent addictions through Forest Therapy, while Manuela will present the NASC (Nature Ambassadors for Youth) initiative, driving sustainable change and strengthening community resilience.

These initiatives are dedicated to the development of evidence-based natural therapeutic approaches and professional training programs, thereby reinforcing science-based Forest Therapy across various sectors. You can review the congress program here.

The work of FTHub is characterized by a holistic approach that bridges practice, research, and public policy formulation. Their primary objective is to establish nature as an indispensable pillar of public health systems. This vision directly aligns with the ISFT’s mission, which seeks to demonstrate the benefits of forests for well-being and health by actively promoting research, and promoting collaboration among all stakeholders.

FTHub has a longstanding presence in ISFT Congresses, contributing to international discussions on Forest Therapy as in previous editions, when the Hub’s trainers and researchers have shared evidence-based practices, facilitated workshops, and showcased EU-funded projects.
