At FTHub, as part of the research and capacity-building team and as a trainer, Susana applies her interdisciplinary background in psychology, ecology and community development to strengthen international projects and capacity-development processes. Before joining FTHub, Susana worked with policymakers and ministries to advance climate and resilience legislation in multiple regions and later conducted field research in Southeast Asia on community-led energy transitions and social adaptation to environmental change. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Local Environment, Energy Efficiency and Land Use Policy. As co-founder and former Director of the Sustainable Energy Youth Network (SEYN) and Senior Programme Officer at the Asian Institute of Technology, she designed and led international programmes that empowered communities to co-create sustainable solutions and foster systems change.

In recent years, Susana has deepened her practice in nature-based and somatic approaches to well-being. She is a certified Forest Therapy Practitioner and has pursued complementary training in Green Care Entrepreneurship, eco-psychosomatics, Dance and Movement Therapy and nature connectedness. Her work integrates scientific insight with embodied practice to support personal and collective transformation.
