Rocío is a highly experienced journalist, writer, and singer-songwriter with a passion for storytelling. With a BA in Communication and more than 25 years of experience in the field, she has worked as a radio producer, writer, and general editor in news sites, as well as contributed to news magazines and blogs. She has also produced some of Argentina’s most-watched television news programmes.
Alongside her journalism career, Rocío has embraced her love for nature and exploration. She has travelled extensively and found solace in the Córdoba hills and streams of La Cumbrecita, as well as the picturesque beaches and pine forests of the Atlantic Coast of Buenos Aires. As an FTHub Forest Bathing Guide and FTHub Forest Therapy Practitioner, she shares her deep connection with nature by guiding others in immersive and rejuvenating experiences.
Rocío’s passion for teaching extends beyond journalism, as she has trained producers and journalistic writers while also serving as a teacher of various subjects, including Narrative Journalism, Online Journalism, and Practices of Journalistic Discourse, at different national universities. With her native Spanish fluency, advanced English proficiency, and proficiency in Italian and Portuguese, she is well-equipped to connect with a diverse range of students and audiences.
