Degree in Psychology (University of Santiago de Compostela). Master in Mental Health Counselling (State University of New York – University at Albany). Expert in Family Therapy and Systemic Interventions (University of A Coruña, Vasco Navarra School of Family Therapy and Hospital de la Santa Creu in Barcelona).
She has worked as a family therapist and psychologist in Wilderness Therapy programmes in the USA and Adventure Therapy (AT) programmes in Europe and Spain. She has more than 12 years of experience in non-formal and outdoor education. She has been one of the promoters of AT in Spain and co-creator of the European AT Network. She is the national representative of the International AT Committee and co-coordinator of the committee’s Intervision and Training working group. Facilitator, trainer and designer of national and international AT programmes.
Since 2015 she promotes and coordinates the Experientia Association, a non-profit organisation pioneer in implementing AT in Spain, which designs customised therapeutic programmes for entities, psychotherapy and individual and couple/family accompaniment based on AT and provides training to health and social intervention professionals.
