Susan Andrien, MFT, is a FTHub Trainer with 25 years of experience in mental health services, specializing in communities impacted by trauma. As Clinical Director at Destiny Arts Center, founder of Hope Reimagined, and Executive Director of Chilmark Community Center, Susan integrates nature into her approach to healing and community building. She believes in the transformative power of connecting with the natural world to foster resilience, well-being, and social connection.

Susan’s expertise includes program management, clinical supervision, counseling, and school-based interventions. Her work with diverse stakeholders—schools, nonprofits, and government agencies—has shaped her understanding of partnerships as drivers of improved mental health and academic outcomes. Actively engaged in the Restorative Justice movement, she collaborates with communities to address harm caused by conflict and systemic oppression. Susan is dedicated to culturally responsive, strength-based care that nurtures individuals, families, and their connection to nature.
